January 2011 College E-news
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Villanova will welcome back its students and faculty on Monday, Jan. 10, 2011, for the start of classes and the spring 2011 semester, which promises to be filled with intellectual and cultural activities and events designed to enrich the academic experience for all students campus wide.
For example, the 13th Annual Literary Festival, sponsored by the Department of English, will feature some of the nation's most prominent writers. Click here to learn more. All readings are free and are followed by a reception and book signing.
In addition, the Center for Peace and Justice Education will sponsor the annual Freedom School in observance of the memory and legacy of Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., on Thursday, January 20, 2011. Freedom School sessions cover a variety of topics, and you can learn more about this very special event here.
